When it comes to helping people and offering fantastic customer service, I’m a veteran. I spent 13 years building a nutrition franchise in Missouri, which allowed me to be part of a community — something I was missing after moving to Sioux Falls in 2010. My desire to work with people again guided me towards insurance, and Allstate in particular, where I can help customers as they select the coverage that fits their lives.

Sioux Falls is a wonderful place to raise a family. It has a big-city feel with a small-town atmosphere, with local sports, beautiful Falls Park, the Great Plains Zoo, Delbridge Museum of Natural History, Sertoma Butterfly House and Marine Cove.

My wife, three kids and I truly enjoy the outdoors. We love hiking, kayaking, fishing and camping, often with our American Bulldog, Ivan. We also like to travel and have taken trips to Puerto Rico, Mexico, Costa Rica, Norway, Iceland and Australia.

I have a history of service to others, having spent 14 years in the Marine Corps and Army Reserves, including a year in Iraq. I’m proud to have a job that allows me to serve others every day. When a former employee of mine lost her house to a fire, she didn’t have sufficient coverage to rebuild. She said, “Everyone loves going to a fundraiser unless that fundraiser is for you.” Her experience pushes me to help customers understand how important it is to have the right coverage’s in place.
