Baron joined the center as a member in January of 2016 and became a board member in July of 2016. He is a lifelong resident of Sioux Falls and is a voice of change and compassion for the community. Using years of business, board, and life experience, he envisions a bright future worth fighting for. Baron is a passionate person that enjoys writing, coffee, and spending time with his niece and family. He studied Interior Design at Minnesota State University, Mankato and has been practicing Interior Design in Sioux Falls for over a decade.
Youth and Family Services
Reina is a passionate, articulate and caring individual. She provides direction to the Center’s Youth and Family efforts. She has branded these efforts with the name “Rainbow Nation” and has spread it like wildfire. Reina also prefers to be called “Boots” because she never leaves the house without them.
Ashley and her family moved to Sioux Falls from the Twin Cities in the summer of 2015. Her career experience involves working in early education for non-profits in diverse and underrepresented communities. Ashley is an advocate for change who loves to plan, promote and attend events that empower further education and acceptance in the community. Her commitment to human and civil rights is unyielding and she brings that energy to The Center as Director of Operations and Co-Chair of Sioux Falls Pride Committee.
Adam joins the board with several years of experience as a previous Center for Equality board member. Adam volunteers with a handful of non-profit and progressive boards and currently works at Sanford Health as the Volunteer Coordinator in Hospice.
Mike joined The Center in the summer of 2011, and is a Paint Specialist at Lowe’s Home Improvement. He is Co-Chair of Aids Walk Sioux Falls and is an active member of the Pride Committee.
